This was "the Year of The Tent." The 2004 21st CF gala honoring Robert Kraft sold out with more than a month to go so, encouraged by support from experts at Gillette Stadium, the event committee moved the gala to a bigger venue - a massive 15,000 square foot tent erected on Cypress Field.

The extra space was clearly needed as a Who's Who of the Boston area's business leadership joined with the Brookline community to honor the favorite son who brought two (now three!) Super Bowl trophies home to New England.

The crowd under the tent was joined in congratulating Mr. Kraft by video tributes from Elton John, Donald Trump and former president George H. W. Bush. Personally calling on many of his good friends to support Brookline High, Mr. Kraft pushed the fundraising bar to a new height: the 2004 gala raised over $600,000!
