This year, the Annual Gala of the Brookline High School 21st Century Fund was a larger celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Fund’s inception in December, 1998.  We used the occasion to depart from the past practice of honoring a Distinguished Alumnus, shifting the focus to the inspirational attributes of the Fund itself as reflected in the Gala’s theme, “A Passion for Excellence.”   Six people connected to BHS and who support the Fund’s work celebrated the Gala with us and served as our honorees.  Each was considered at the top of his or her respective field and reflective of our theme. Together, they represent the key groups – alumni, parents, and educators – who form the foundation of the Fund’s operation and support.
