The BHS 21st Century Fund has everything to do with the integrity of Brookline High School as a respected national leader in public education. We have a proud history of innovation and effectiveness and The Fund's credo, "Local Solutions for National Challenges in Education," defines our pioneering spirit.
Research conducted over the years has validated the work of many of our programs including The BHS Tutorial Program and Teachers Mentoring Teachers. Brookline High was featured at The College Board's National Forum in Chicago; we presented a three-hour workshop on our efforts to raise achievement for all students while narrowing the achievement gap. Our 21st Century Fund projects received national attention. Through their involvement in these programs, our teachers are now national leaders in secondary education.
We continue to offer teachers the opportunity to dream with the very real hope that their dreams will be realized. The entire staff notices the growth of The Fund, the enthusiasm of its Board and staff, and the opportunities it offers for students and teachers, and to polish the mystique of Brookline High.
